Sweden: (N.p., n.d.). Small quarto. (14)ff. Illustrated cut-figure book, with each page cut into two sections. On the rectos are full-length figures, divided into torsos and legs. On the versos are faces, divided at the nose. This particular transformation book has an impressive variety of figures-men and women, fat and thin, young and old, with a wide variety of hats and props. The full figures are acting out strange activities, including but not limited to climbing a tree, sailing a boat, crouching in a bucket, sitting at the top of a tower, reading a book, hiding a slingshot, and standing on a cow. All of these disparate parts come together seamlessly to make some truly unique transformations. Bound in illustrated boards with a stapled spine. Slight bend and some light scratches to the covers, else fine.
