This is the story of a sick little Irish boy named Patsy who is brought to the far side of the moon where Mother Goose and little children live. Patsy is brought there by the Moon Princess named Dearest Darling who takes him to meet all of the characters from Mother Goose who are portrayed as real children. Illustrated by R.J. Campbell in color on every page, with the book design and style reminiscent of W.W. Denslow's. Printed on heavy paper with thick covers, few copies have survived intact.
