Very Good. Painting. A watercolor painting from James Reynolds. From auction records, according to Reynolds' first wife, this was one of only two watercolors he painted sometime from 1956 to 1958, when the rest of his paintings were oil and tempura. A Hollywood studio artist at the time, Reynolds later became well-known for his depictions of the American West. This is one of two paintings of a boat in dry dock painted around the same time; the other is signed but this one isn't. The painting is in very good condition with an adhesive mark on a few millimeters of one edge from framing. ; Watercolor; 21" x 28" . (Inventory #: 010809)
