A small quarto measuring 10 3/4 by 7 3/4 inches with wear to the paper covering at the head and heel of the spine and to the lower edges of the boards. There is a 4 inch long gouge to the front board which has been somewhat masked with dark gray pencil. There is also a prior owner's name, date of July 5th 1913 and a 1963 US Postal Stamp commemorating the Battle of Gettysburg on the verso of the first free end page.
