Front hinge is weak with some spine cloth splitting at the joint. Former owner's label on spine is worn. Foxing throughout and a few penciled margin notes. First issue with the word "Animals" misprinted and corrected on the title page. Folding map, 143,  advertisements. The tipped in map is on thin tinted paper with blue ink and hand-colored boundaries and railroads. Map has tears where it is tipped in and edge toning.
