Despite the new political figuration and tensions due to the divided Germany the general outlook was positive. New fields were embraced in science and technology and subsequently influenced the designs of the era. The new designs and fresh colors were innovative for their time. This typical example for the period displays an extensive selection of the manufacturer's padded chairs, armchairs, couches and stools. It is illustrated and designed in the typical concept approach with professional color and b/w and photographs of products throughout. Includes brief text on the performance and components of Fertig products as well as sample colors for laminations at rear. Text in German. Wraps with light wear along edges and lightly rubbed.
