Contemporary ownership signature of "Margaret Jane Palliser, Dublin, 1824." A juvenile novel of Christian life. A "fourth edition" was published in 1824, and an American edition in Salem, Mass. in 1827; but this first edition appears to be unlocated. The Macrae attribution is from a citation of a later edition in the NUC. The author may also be Sara T. Hammond. This edition not in OCLC, NUC, Halkett & Laing, Sadleir, or Wolff.
