Map measures 15" x 12 3/4", with a six-inch tear along one fold, a few corner holes, light soil spots, and light fold toning. Image is cropped slightly due to scanner size. A brightly hand-colored with an inset map of the Lead Mine Region East of the Mississippi River, with several Indian mound and diggings locations noted on the inset. On the right is a county population chart of the state including 1830 census numbers of free colored and slaves, and on the left is a mileage chart for steam boat routes.
