Deutschland und Angranzende Lander: Autokarte / Allemagne et Pays Limitrophes: Carte Automobile
Bern: Kummerly + Frey Geographischer Verlag, 1944. Before 1945. Pamphlet. VG- map (a route drawn in inoffensive blue ink; brief margin notation of date of trip - 1950; and very light wear to fold corners); covers lightly worn at lower edges/corners (no chips/tears).. Folded color map attached to red/blue card covers with color illus. and white lettering. Open map is 49 x 36 inches; closed in folder is 6 x 9 inches. Scale is 1:1,000,000. Map of autoroutes on The Continent. The general area comprised (W - E): Paris to Budapest and Gravenhage to Warszawa; N - S: Mid-Denmark to Bern and northern Poland to Budapest. Distances to principal cities outside the map are marked in the margins. There is no date on the map, but Germany is intact (pre-WWII borders), and Berlin is not divided, so the map likely is pre-1945. Town/city names are in the languages of the countries where they are located (some with German translations underneath). Country names are in German only.
