by Fowles, John [sourcework], and William Wyler [director]
[Culver City]: Columbia Pictures, 1965. Eleven 8x10" color mini lobby cards. Number 1 has two tiny tape residue marks on corners of blank verso and some creasing; numbers 4, 5, 6, and 8 have staple holes in the four corner margins from having been exhibited, else very good to near fine. Sequence 1-11 of the color mini lobby cards issued to promote the U.S. release of the first screen adaptation of a Fowles work, and in the minds of many, the most successful. The film was directed by William Wyler, based on a screenplay by Stanley Mann and John Kohn -- Terry Southern contributed uncredited late revisions -- and starred Terence Stamp and Samantha Eggar.
