Studio group portrait of seven young men, two sporting roses in the bands of their hats, one of the men seated in front with a bouquet of roses sticking out of his boot. The message on the verso is presumably by a member of the Union, possibly one of the men in the photograph: "Takoa [sic] Wash / Mar 1-09 / Dear Mother was up there last week but you was [sic] not home and I left that eve. Don't know when I will get up again. Write soon. [Name illegible]." (Inventory #: 30313)
