Eberhardt [1929-2001] began her career as a fashion model then as an actress. She grew up in Oakhurst, NJ and was discovered by a fashion photographer, who noticed her distinctive feature of one brown eye and one blue eye, during the annual Easter Parade in Asbury Park right around the time she inscribed this book. She co-starred in "Live Fast, Die Young" and dated actor James Dean and comedian Jerry Lewis, eventually marrying French actor Claude Dauphin. An interesting association copy!
