There is an interesting political note on the back cover urging museum visitors to vote "YES" in the up-coming election (November 4, 1924) to the proposed City of Baltimore loan for the erection of a Museum of Art. The museum at this time was located in Garrett House, Mount Vernon Place (which had been lent to the museum), and needed a larger space.
