The "Treasure Island" of the title refers to the man-made island in San Francisco Bay on which the Fair was held. This pirate-themed book includes two nine-inch paper dolls, "Little" John Silver and "Buccaneer Baby." The twins have five pages of swashbuckling costumes, and three sandy set-pieces showing a treasure chest, a dog, and a parrot. The book also includes a poem by Berry and an "Explanation List of Sea Terms." Minor scuffing to back cover, else fine.
