Rare, Worldcat located nine copies. The author served throughout the war in the 35th Georgia Infantry. He took part in the battle of Chancellorsville and the six month siege of Petersburg. He was captured and spent a short time in Point Lookout before rejoining his unit. As stated in the cover, "He went to the last ditch."
