Eighty-Four Scenes of the Great Southwest in Six Reels Tru-Vue Viewer
Fair. Film. A Tru-Vue stereoscopic viewer set in its original box with "Fred Harvey" on the box top. Six reels are present, with Great Southwest on three reels, Los Angeles on one, and Grand Canyon on two. The bakelite viewer has a shiny face and dark screws and is missing one lens, circa 1930s-1940s. The filmstrips are brittle and the box has significant wear. Folded pamphlet included. Tru-Vue stereoscopic views, which preceded Viewmasters, were orignally produced in Rock Island, Illinois in the 1930s and 1940s, and the town's name is on the viewer. ; 3 1/2" x 7" x 2" .
