White wraps with minimal lettering. 16 pp. with 5 bw plates. Includes drawings by Arshile Gorky, Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollock, Franz Kline and Philip Guston. Introductory essay by Eila Kokkinen, with notes. Lists 14 works by Gorky, 21 by de Kooning, 9 by Pollock, 15 by Kline, and 18 by Guston. This catalogue is an adaptation from a larger more extensively illustrated catalogue for this exhibition when it was held in Cambridge, MA. There have also been some adjustments made to the number of works by each artist in this exhibition, compared to the Cambridge one. It would be good to compare the two and see what drawings were unique to each exhibition. (Inventory #: 103441)
