This is one of several anti-imperial works composed in the wake of General Monck's entry to London which led to the restoration of the Charles II. Although this work bears the date of 1660, the text includes a reference to Venner's rising, which means it must have been written after January 1661. Pages 90-94 are a bibliography of the author's works, which includes two lost titles: 'Iter Hibernicum, or His Irish voyage', and 'Patricks Purgatory'. Wing W 3157. Provenance: Robert S.
