A total of 66 works were on view by 34 grahpic artists from the various Soviet republics: Moscow, Leningrad, Smolensk, Vilnius, Kharkov, Riga, and other places. A few represent the Soviet ideal, while several illustrate folk themes (Lithuanian folk songs, Latvian poetry, etc.) and everyday events and places (skiing, hunting, the woods, flowers, shepherds, etc.). Included are woodcuts, linocuts, and lithographs. Exquisite images. With a foreword and introduction, both by Michael Milkovich.
