Two inscriptions - the first is a poem on the right front flyleaf, "Oh sweet in the vale where the Mohawk gently glides - On Its winding way to the sea - but dearer than all storied streams on Earth besides - Is this bright flowing river to me." The second inscription is a gift inscription written top of title page. Tipped in photographs include one of the "Old Palantine Church built 1770." Other photographs are pictures of an old building, valley scene, and old bridges.
