A full facsimile of one of the first books printed in Mexico. It was "published [at the press operated by Juan Pablos] in the city of Tenochtitlan, Mexico, June, 1544, by Right Rev. Juan Zumárraga, first bishop of Mexico. To which are added The earliest books in the New world, by Rev. Zephyrin Englehardt [sic] and A technical appreciation of the first American printers, by Stephen H. Horgan, edited by Thomas F. Meehan."
