An early proponent of the benefits of raw foods, in 1924 he founded a mail-order business selling fruits, nuts, honey, and other items. His self-published work "Das Spiegelbild der Weltgeschichte", was confiscated and pulped by the Nazis, although he continued to write and publish works throughout the 1930's, even after being banned. As of August 2016, WorldCat locates only two holdings in North America.
