Book 1: Vol.1: xiii, (1), 75 pp. followed by 108 bw plates (followed by) Vol. 2: xvi, 120 bw plates. Book 2: Vol 3: xv, (1), 75 pp followed by 128 bw plates (followed by) Vol. 4: xii (2), 77 (3) pp., 120 bw plates. A truly vital set and a phenomenal resource, here re-published. Book 1 contains the original Volumes 1+2 (-Vol. I is on the Prehistoric and Pre-Han Periods, Vol. II covers the Han Period) and book 2 contains the original Volumes 3+4 (Vol. III is entirely sculpture and IV entirely architecture). These books are a wealth of information and illustrative examples.
