Deluxe issue in blue with the special presentation page with a presentation inscribed by the author -film producer, Adolph Zukor to silent film actress Bebe Daniels. Zukor was the founder of Paramount Pictures and this book relates the rise of the studio during the silent era. Bebe Daniels was one of Paramount’s most popular stars of the silent period and was paired with some of the era’s brightest leading men including Rudolph Valentino and Wallace Reid. Some of her film appearances include early roles in two-reel Hal Roach comedies with Snub Pollard and Harold Lloyd, Spring Fever, An Ozark Romance, Captain Kidd’s Kids, The Dancin’ Fool, Miss Brewster’s Millions, Senorita, and many more. Very good plus copy with some very slight mottling to the spine and some wear to the extremities with the gilt-stamping still bright in a lightly dust soiled dust jacket with some chipping and small tears.
