Left margin is neatly trimmed. One-inch tear and a few fold splits repaired with archival tape, and a half-inch piece missing at lower right corner. Very clean. "The figures on the map are those of the stakes driven into the ground to mark the graves," noting 12 men including George A. Custer. A prettily drawn view of a pretty bad scene, with bluffs, teepees, and vegetation along the Little Big Horn River shown.
