The rear endsheet is split along the hinges, and both the front and rear hinges are weak. There are several cracks in the text block. previous owner's name stamped in ink twice on the front pastedown. Illustrated by C. E. Chambers. Inscribed by the author, with a charming original drawing, on the front free endsheet. The author's inscription states, "March - 1915. For___, from his old and reformed comrade, Tark."
