Tight and with no extraneous marks but with the following: coffee stains on back cover; grease stains on back cover that have bled front through to page 1 (FFEP).. Thick, textured, cream paper with black debossed lettering. Stapled binding. 8 pp. with 2 bw plates. Catalogue from the exhibition of January 24 through February 14, 1963 at the MFA Houston. Includes an introduction by James Johnson Sweeney, the list of 12 works on view by Lee Bontecou, Alexander Calder, Pietro Consagra, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, and Niki de Saint-Phalle, as well as a relief, Jaguar, cult figure, mask and bronze of Ephebus; the latter 4 dating from the 18th Egyptian Dynasty to the pre-Cortes era and two New Guinea works. This exhibition occurred the same year that the first flight (Gemini IV) was controlled from MSC (Manned Space Center) at Johnson Space Center (NASA) in Houston. A very scarce exhibition catalogue.
