Both volumes of this two volume set are in very good+ condition in red cloth covered boards with gilt text stamping on the spines and front boards. brown title blocks on the spines. Both are octavos measuring 9 1/8 by 6 1/4 inches. The top edges of both volumes are lightly dust stained and there is a prior owner's name on the first free end page of volume II. Both are in good unclipped dust jackets which have a number of closed tears and minor chipping around their extremes. One of only 1,000 copies printed with this set numbered 518. Volume I contains 995 pages including an index. Volume II contains Genealogy and Biography consisting of 946 pages including an index. (Inventory #: TB28735)
