Colton's imprint and probably disbound from Colton's General Atlas, with a copyright date of 1855. Two pages are bound together , with No. 70 and 71 in upper page corners. Edges are toned, chipped and torn, with light toning and soil on the printed area. The verso of the map is printed with information on California on one page, including California gold production through 1861. The other page covers other western states. Decorative scroll border. Hachure relief, routes of exploration, proposed railroads, and the Gadsden Treaty boundary with Mexico are shown. ; 17 1/2" x 28" . (Inventory #: 011993)
