Good. Map. A map of the Midatlantic states with some odd boundaries and hand-colored borders added later. Circa 1780. Extracted with dampstain at centerfold and chipped upper corners, not affecting map border. "Possessions Angloises" is written along the Atlantic Coast where later similar versions of this map have "Etats Unis." No imprint, with the original version by mapmaker Joseph de Laporte. Scale in lieus dune heure, approximately 20: 1", Pl. 27 in upper right corner. The western state boundaries are hazy guesses and Philadelphia is missing.
