The first is an 8 1/2" x 3" die-cut book in the shape of child with an illustration of a girl on the front cover and a boy on the back. The cover is lightly embossed Fall and Winter. The department store also features a full line of clothing accessories and household products not included in this catalog. Each page has an illustration of an individual wearing a trimmed hat and a second unadorned hat. Each with a model number. c1880s. Printed by E. Wells Sachett & Ranson, NY.The second is 7 1/8" x 4 1/2" with a die-cut circle at base with embossed images of different little girls on the front and back covers. This catalog is in the same format but limited to hats for adult women. The center pages list the various departments and includes such things as imported costumes, dolmans, wraps &c.
