(NY): Viking. (1972). An alphabet book, featuring pictures by Leonard Baskin and words by his wife, Lisa, and his children, Tobias and Hosea. Calligraphically inscribed: "For Pete & Oriole [Farb]/ with the affectionate regard of Lisa & Leonard. 1972." Also signed by Tobias and Hosea Baskin, (then 3 or 4 years old). Fine in a very good dust jacket with a bit of sunning and a couple short edge tears. Although Leonard Baskin was known to be generous with his signatures, this is doubtless uncommon signed by the three, especially with contemporary signatures. Winner of the Caldecott Medal. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine. (Inventory #: 032740)
