Uncommon edition of the BCP => printed by John Baskett and held only at Columbia University, followed by two versions of the Psalms — the older rendition by Sternhold and Hopkins, from => woman printer Alice Pearson, and the newer by Tate and Brady.
Binding: 18th-century black morocco, all spine compartments delicately gilt-stamped with none given over to a label; covers framed in gilt floral rolls, turn-ins with gilt floral rolls, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers.

Binding rubbed with a few small scuffs, especially at corners, gilt faded. Provenance markings and one leaf lacking as above, light pencilling on endpapers, BCP title-page with a corner in old pen-and-ink facsimile and a bit of text on verso lost and unreplaced, that leaf a little holed in an erasure attempt; very short marginal tears on three leaves, short tears affecting a few letters on three more, light to moderate age-toning. => A pleasing combination of texts in a pleasing binding.
