Cloth well sunned, but with remnants of the original green color on the boards, spine gilt darkened, upper inner hinge cracked but firm. Bookseller's stamp on reverse of front free endpaper. A very good copy in only a good binding but with the fairly scarce Longmans imprint. A wonderful reworking of elements of the 'Mabinogioin' following the atempts of Manawyddan to regain three stolen magical items. The final chapter covers the reign of Manawyddan's son, Pryderi.
