Chicago: Solidarity Bookshop. 1968. Poster. Single leaf, 12¾ x 20", featuring portraits of the five anarchists who were due to be hanged November 11, 1887. Five black and white portraits assembled on an off-white sheet. At the foot of the poster is a block of text giving context and history to the portraits. A previous owner has creased the poster so the text block does not show when framed (12¾ x 17") However it will be framed, this is a very good+ to near fine poster, but for the horizontal crease 3" from the bottom edge. A wonderful Sixties poster reprinting a classic fund-raising poster from 1887. In the text block at the bottom, the Solidarity Bookshop notes that they are reprinting the poster as a fund-raiser for themselves, the "only anarchist bookshop in the country." ; 12¾ x 20"; 1 pp .
