Map and images drawn by Richard "Sweet Lips" Walters a columnist for The Bay Area Reporter, drag performer, and bartender at The Kokpit. The annual Hanging of Sweet Lips was a grand bacchanal at The Kokpit and other venues through the 1970s-1980s. Walters began writing for the KS Foundation before it became the AIDS Foundation.
