Paris: Garnier Freres. Hardcover. Very Good. Andre Helle. An interesting copy of the 1926 1st edition, which includes a lovely, unusually tender dedication on the front pastedown from an American grandmother to her granddaughter (and with an accompanying pasted-on photograph of them together!). A solid copy to boot. Tight and VG in its pictorial boards. The front and rear endpapers have been neatly excised, otherwise very clean, with no other arkings and all 29 chromolithographed paltes in pristine condition. Tall quarto, wonderfully illustrated thruout by Andre Helle. Part of the "Albums Illustres pour Enfants" series by Garnier Freres of Paris.
