A near fine, bright copy with only a trace of wear, mainly along the bottom edge of the boards. In the original dustwrapper which lacks small bits at the spine tips and along the bottom of the rear panel. else is in very good condition with light soil, mostly on the spine. The dustwrapper has a pasteon to the front panel listing the place of publication as New York, the only indication that this was intended for the American market. First published in 1829, this is a novel involving Elphin's interactions with Uther Pendragon, Arthur, Taliesin and Guinevere, but is also interwoven with satirical references to nineteenth century life. This edition not noted in Howey and Reimer.
