Paris: Shakespeare and Company, 1927. First edition. Hardcover. g to vg. 16mo. Unpaginated (12 leaves). Tan/faded green boards, with dark green lettering on front and back covers. The publication is a collection of 13 poems by the acclaimed author, written between 1904 and 1924. This is a first edition printed by the famous bookshop - and later publisher, Shakespeare & Co. on Joyce's behalf. Each poem is accompanied by a mention of where and when it was written. A publisher's note at rear discusses the (slightly larger) limited edition of 13 on handmade Dutch paper, but this copy is not one of those. Errata slip tipped in at rear free endpaper.
