by Steven Spielberg (director, screenwriter); Hal Barwood, Matthew Robbins (screenwriters); Goldie Hawn, Ben Johnson, Michael Sacks, William Atherton (starring)
Universal City, CA: Universal Pictures, 1974. Vintage one sheet poster for the 1974 film. Distributor notation in holograph ink on the verso.
Spielberg's first major motion picture, an uncharacteristically nihilistic entry about a violent crime spree that ends in a house shot more full of holes than any house before or since. Conceptually, a follow-up to his brilliant television film "Duel" (1971), and a warm-up for the film that would make his name, "Jaws" (1975).
Shot on location in Texas. Winner of the award for Best Screenplay at the 1974 Cannes Film Festival.
27 x 41 inches, folded as issued. Very Good, with a few tiny tears and short creases. (Inventory #: 139968)
