A few minor scuffs to boards, moderate rubbing to extremities, wear to head of spine, joints just starting at ends, corners bumped, hinges starting. Some toning to text, light foxing to a few leaves. First published in 1730 as A Collection of Precedents Relating to the Office of a Justice of Peace this is a useful collection of precedents organized alphabetically by topic. The preface and following chapter offer a good deal of interesting detail about justices and their place in the English judicial system. All editions of this title are scarce.
