Long Crendon, Buckinhamshire: Seven Acres Press, 1927. Haberly, Loyd. Octavo. 10pp. One of 125 copies, this copy out-of-series. With woodcut illustrations: architectural border on the title page, six vignettes, eleven initials, and one tail-piece. First page printed in black and red. The binding of this copy, although unsigned, was done by Haberly himself, as was his habit. Haberly operated the Seven Acres Press out of a building he built by hand, with the goal of doing "everything in the printing and binding myself." Haberly went on to be appointed Controller of the Gregynog Press for two years, where he supervised the production of Xenephon's Cyrupaedia, Bridge's Eros and Psyche, and a collection of his own poetry, Anne Boleyn and Other Poems. Bound in full brick leather, with gilt stamping and ruling. "Apostate" in gilt to the spine. Housed in a matching felt-lined cloth slipcase, leather-trimmed at the opening edge. Darkening to spine, and some wear to spine and opening of slipcase, else fine.
