A folded illustrated card with a three paragraph typed letter, SIGNED by di Prima (as Diane di P) undated, but with envelope date stamped 14 September 1969. The letter was written to fellow poet Michael Perkins. Di Prima is responding to Perkins' request to possibly publish her journals. She mentions that Grove Press had expressed interest in publihing the journal she kept at Millbrook when she lived at Tim Leary's "community" for five months. She also discusses plans for the publication of Spring and Autumn Annals, a Celebration of the Seasons for Freddie, mentions troubles she had with Leroi Jones over the publication of some other work that specifically mentioned him by name, and other matters. An informative letter from one of the primary members of the beat literary scene. Card and envelope are both in very good condition (envelope has a somewhat large tear). 41 typed lines of text.
