Good. 1912. Hardcover. This German language travel guide to Mexico is in good shape. Woodgrain paper over ivory cloth spine has mounted gilt title on the spine. Boards are worn around the edges, have bumped and chipped corners and shows significant rubbing. The spine is discolored, missing its head cap, fraying at the tail cap and near the title. There is a black library location sticker on the bottom of the spine. Ivory quartercloth spine is dirty and discolored. There is a library bookplate on the first pastedown stamped as withdrawn from the United States Military Academy Library. The title page is in poor condition as it is nearly detached, and the spine is cracked at this location. Rear pastedowns show removal of stickers and library pocket. Inside pages are toned around the edges. There is a nice folding map at the the back, as well as black and white photos and tables. Endpages are filled with international advertisements. Place and publisher unknown, with Mexico, Hamburg, San Francisco and Leipzig listed on the title page.
