London: S. and E. Harding, (1793). First Edition Thus. Quarto; 363pp; lxxxiv; bound in full 19th century burgundy straight-grained morocco with gilt rules to five raised bands on spines and gilt ruling on both boards; all edges gilt; this sturdy binding is largely rubbed and worn at extremities, with surface loss to leather at spine ends, edges and corners, as well as occasional scuffing and rubbing wear; the title is aged and thumb-soiled in the margins; most plates have impressed mild to heavy offsetting on facing text pages, but plates are generally very good and most lack any defect safe for the occasional foxing in margins; overall a very good copy of this well-executed volume, profusely illustrated with engraved portrait plates. [Spine; worn burgundy leather with small gilt titles]. Rockville Non-Retail Listings. (Inventory #: 13-17-1210001)
