Vol. XIX, nos. 2-4 (these three issues only; the third issue incorrectly prints "Vol. XX"). 4to. 4-pages, each issue, illustrated from photographs, the middle two pages a photo-montage of the early years of the school in the opening decades of the 20th century; a quarterly, functioning as newsletter and fund raiser for the African-American school founded by Laurence C. Jones in 1909. "The school is one of four remaining historically African-American boarding school in the United States. It is currently the largest African-American boarding school, as well as being the second oldest continually operating one" (Wikipedia). OCLC locates 20 holdings, but almost all are for one or a few issues; none we checked hold these three. One issue addressed in ink manuscript, a second (to the same recipient) in type. Very good.
