This is a report on the archaeological study of an original half-acre lot in Richmond known in the 18th and 19th centuries as "Rocketts". The study was sponsored by the Virginia Department of Transportation in order to recover important archaeological material and information which would have otherwise been destroyed by a proposed widening of the intersection between Main Street and Williamsburg Avenue.
