Good+ in light brown cloth covered boards highly decorated with gilt text, black designs and red rules on the spine and with a red, gilt and black crest on the front board. A small quarto measuring 9 3/16 by 6 3/4 inches with light gray end sheets. The front hinge is cracked, but the underlying mull is still holding. The rear hinge is starting. The cloth at the head and heel of the spine is very slightly rubbed at it is at the tips of the boards and the gilt text on the spine is slightly faded. 257 pages of text illustrated throughout with an engraved frontispiece of Sir Galahad of the Grail, numerous head and tail pieces and 25 plates for a total of 65 illustrations.
