Pleasures of Angling with Rod and Reel for Trout and Salmon
by George Dawson
New York: Sheldon & Company, 1876. Cloth. Near Fine. A gorgeous copy of the 1876 1st edition. Tight and easily Near Fine in its rich green cloth, with brilliant gilt-design and lettering along the front panel and spine, and matching blindstamped design and lettering at the rear panel. Save for a neat former owner inscription to the front blank endpaper and just a touch of paper loss to the bottom-edge of the first half dozen or so pages, this would be a pristine example of a book over 140 years old. 12mo, full-page engraved illustration plus engraved chapter lead-ins. (Inventory #: 13818)
