[New Orleans, 1860. Very Good. 14 x 5 cm. Unused. Presumably prepared prior to the end of the Civil War. Confederate imprint? New Orleans was catured by Union forces in the Spring ot 1862 and remained under Union control for the rest of the Civil War. Slavery was abolished in the parts of Louisiana under Union control by the Constitution of 1864. (Inventory #: 94627)
